I'm pleased to see I'm correct about that much. That leaves only Erik, and I imagine he has Lux to make up for the lack of Lux users left among us.
[Again, he could be wrong, but this is a pretty good assumption for now.]
You have my thanks for trusting me with that. I'm sure it goes without saying, but I have no intention of telling anyone else. I would like to learn more about how it works, if you'd be willing to share any information you have.
I've mostly been using it to get some peace and quiet around here. It can kill sound for several minutes, and I've been using it to do exactly that in my room when I don't feel like dealing with anyone.
Outside of that...well, I'm sure you've noticed by now that I don't ever bring candles anywhere. I don't need light to know what's in the room around me.
Once again I find myself jealous of everyone else's powers...
[he has to carry around so many candles!! i just keep forgetting to mention it but there are always so many!!!]
The ability to kill sound entirely like that certainly is exceptionally useful. I wasn't aware it could do that, though admittedly I haven't attempted to talk to Dazai about Sonui at all.
[He's certain Dazai wouldn't be useful to talk to about it, or he'd ask for information in exchange and no thanks?? No thanks. He can trust Cumore far more than Dazai.]
Very fair, that certainly does give you plenty of time to experiment.
If you have any questions about Illusio, I can answer them, although the first trial did a good job of putting almost all of it out there on full display.
[So you know. Another reason why he doesn't want anyone to know this is what he's stuck with.]
[Hyoubu was pretty thorough, though, so at least there's that.]
Believe me, though, if I had the means to make weapons as I pleased like Lux allows, I would have killed someone a long time ago. Unfortunately, my own isn't terribly good for that.
[Oh, don't worry, it won't be anything particularly nasty. Iago moves to that stack of books on the desk and picks one up - it's nothing particularly important, but it's paperback and when he flips it over, the back cover has a good number of doodled geometric designs across half of it.]
Illusio can only activate on an area that has drawings on it, so...
[He activates it, and that half of the book simply disappears. It's invisible now, with the remainder of the book still visible in hand. It's a very good illusion; nothing about it looks off at all.]
The illusions last for an hour, though I'm capable of dispelling them whenever I'd like.

[SIGH!!]
So, am I correct with either of those guesses?

[Sadism!]
And you are, yes. Sonui has been more than acceptable for me, given how dark this place tends to be.

It can do a fair amount of things. Once in a while I experiment, though I have to be sure no one is around when I do.
It makes getting up so early worth my time.

[Using it is a terrible idea!! And also it kind of sucks for actually defending himself so you know. Murder is more difficult than it needs to be...]

[Not that Illusio is terrible or anything, but it isn't his illusion magic!!]

Perhaps I'll ask for a demonstration of yours sometime, should you be so inclined.

...I see.
[Why.]

[iago no]
But anyway, yes, it's much weaker than what I'm capable of with my magic.
[There goes the illusion, the book is back as it should be! And then it gets set back on the pile and he returns to sit on the bed.]

[Like, it could be literally nothing? That would suck.]
I do want to see if there's some way to make blastia work here. I don't see why there wouldn't be, seeing as there are living things and all.
[So there's probably aer? The people here were just unaware of it.]
