Nohr is a country known for relatively poor land and dreadful weather; over the years we've faced more hardships due to food shortages and poor crop yields that have left much of the country in a state of crisis. Hoshido is the largest country near us - and the one we're currently at war with. They've been aware of our suffering for a very long time, but have never offered any assistance despite their excellent quality of land and bountiful harvests.
Things were further complicated when one of King Garon's daughters - Princess Corrin - was kidnapped by the Hoshidans. War was our only option. We fight now to reclaim the lost princess and secure Nohr's future.

Ahh, so Hoshido is pretty selfish... and you're fighting for a princess too. If someone had stolen the princess from us, I would have fought to get her back too. But only if there wasn't another way. [ Pizza accepts all of this, it sounds pretty reasonable? ]
